Airforce Texan Regulator Combo with Extreme 457 Valve and .35L CF Buddy Bottle rated 300 bar (First of its Kind for the Airforce and Gunpower Big Bore Airguns)
We now have the “Airforce Texan Regulator Combo with Extreme 457 Valve and .35L CF Buddy Bottle rated 300 bar” which is the combo for higher power than the factory Texan Valve, advantage of having a regulator on your big bore airgun to achieve regulated shots per fill, bundled with the .35L CF tank rated to 300 bar to compensate for the Length of Pull.
The Extreme Texan .45 Valve has been beefed up from the factory Texan valve to vent out more air per shot.
Our Texan regulator has the largest plenum available today in the market.
Comes with Dual Gauges which shows both, pressure in the tank (input pressure) and the output pressure in the plenum.
Filling is on the Reg so you can have a tethered setup for bench rest shooting.
Compact and shorter .35L CF Buddy Bottle for light weight and a higher fill capacity of 300 bar.
Butt Plate Assembly shown in pic is an add on for the custom CF tank and has 2 additional height adjustments to suit your needs
The Combo ships with a heavier hammer and Heavier spring which allows the valve to open smoothly at 200 bar. (Reg is factory set to 200 bar for a higher shot count)
Larger pre chamber on our regulators in which we have combined both power and consistent shot count.
The valve included is specific for the .457 cal, and we do offer the above without the valve assembly if you intend to use the Texan factory valve on our reg and .35L CF Tank.
Output range of the regulator can be internally adjusted from 100 bar to 200 bar. (We have tested it to an output (plenum pressure) of 400 bar as shown in above video)
Max fill pressure of the regulator is 300 bar. (Make sure of your tank max working pressure and fill no more than the recommended pressure) (Tested to a fill pressure of 500 bar as shown in above video)
We have been working on this for quite some time and have been periodically testing these regulators for utmost performance. We can proudly say that our regulators are now available for sale and will do a great job on the Airforce Texan and the Gunpower Big Bore Airguns.
If you would like it to be set to a desired pressure within the range, do write in the comments when you place the order and it will be pre-tuned and shipped.
This regulator ensures that your tank retains the quick install and disconnect feature. You don't want to be looking for the Spin-Loc Tool when you want to get started or done shooting.
We would have these is 2 variants:
1) Airforce Texan Regulator Combo with Extreme 457 Valve and .35L CF Buddy Bottle rated 300 bar without a fill nipple and gauge on the Texan Valve.
As the regulator comes with Dual Gauge showing both the input pressure and the output pressure the gauge on the valve is not required. Filling is done via the Male QD on the Reg itself, so the fill nipple on the factory valve is not required as well. This will make sure that you do not reverse the filling when filling air into the regulated tank setup. Other benefits you get is the screw on/screw off feature to take down the gun when you are done shooting and want to travel with the gun. The whole rig can be screwed off the frame of the gun without having to adjust the spin loc collar and which is a daunting task when you are in the field.
2) If you still need the Texan Extreme Valve with the fill nipple and dual gauges, then we can ship the order with a valve which has both pre-installed as well. When you buy the above combo, we shall ship the Extreme Texan Valve which does not have a provision for the fill and gauge as its not required when installed in conjunction with the Texan Regulator. In the listed picture you can see that the fill port and the gauge port on the Texan valve assembly have dead end plugs. The newer versions will not have any provision for gauge and fill nipple on the Texan extreme valve assembly to accommodate the quick take down feature as they interfere with the frame if you want to quickly disconnect the tank setup from the gun.
Post upgrade if you are using the factory Texan valve, always fill using the male qd (male foster fitting) on the body of the regulator only.
Built like a tank and tested to 500 bar for safety. (Never Exceed the max fill of 300bar input pressure (Tank must be rated to 300 bar) and output pressure (plenum output pressure of 200 bar))
Sturdy gauges with metallic body for the wilderness with the Airforce and Gunpower big bore airguns.
Each regulator is filled to 300 bar (input pressure) with the reg output (plenum pressure) set to 200 bar for 24 hours before they ship to ensure they are free of leaks.
The best raw materials have been used to machine this regulator and to ensure we have a light, durable, safe and proven product. They have been chosen, designed with materials and specs to the highest tolerances for the right job.
Safety is the highest priority for any of the products we manufacture.

If you need the max shot count then the answer to it is our "1 Ltr Luxfer Carbon Composite Cylinders 300BAR (61cu)(1000cc)"
If you have your own tank with M18 x 1.5 threads, then it would be a direct fit as well. However, you would benefit from a tank which has a higher fill pressure like 250 bar or above. If you have a tank which is rated 200 bar, as the reg is set to 200 bar you would not benefit from the regulator unless you intend to shoot the reg tethered at all times.
We have now launched a “Airforce Condor Regulator Adjust Regulated Pressure Assembly” for those who would like to easily adjust the regulated pressure.

Stock Options for our Regulator with 0.35L Carbon Fiber Cylinder.
Doug from MadDogRifleStocks has come up with one of the finest stocks for the Airforce platform.
Not only do they compensate for the flex in the frame by adding stability but they do offer the best solution in the market for the upgraded regulated tanks setup. Thus you compensate for the Length of Pull by adding the shorter 0.35L CF cylinders and the added length of the Regulators.
